Money & reports

One profit figure, on every screen

The dashboard, the P&L, its export and the top-seller widgets read the same calculation. Last month stays closed.

In short

LaptopERP uses one profit-by-period calculation for every report, export and dashboard tile: lines as sold, minus returns dated in the period, plus stock-count adjustments, minus approved expenses. Returns count in the month they happen, and money still owed is shown separately from profit.

How it works

  1. Morning dashboard

Twelve widgets, all read from the same calculation as the reports.

  2. Pick a report

    Filter by branch and date.

  3. Export

PDF on your letterhead, or Excel.

  4. Check what's still owed

Money still owed on these sales sits apart from profit.

What's included

  • Six reports: Sales, Purchase, Stock, Profit & Loss, Accessory Stock, Transfer

  • Every product listed with configuration and serial

  • PDF and Excel export

  • One profit calculation

  • Still owed shown separately

  • Stock value at cost basis (purchase plus repairs) and expected value

  • Closed branches labelled, history kept

  • Dashboard: revenue, purchases, inventory, gross and net profit, money in and out by method, sales trend, top laptops and accessories, recent sales, pending actions, drawer differences, bills due

  • Permission per report and widget

  • Google Analytics widgets in the panel

Worked example

A return doesn't rewrite last month

A laptop sold on 28 September for ৳52,000 (cost ৳46,000) is returned on 3 October.

October shows −৳6,000 for the return. September's report never changes after it closes.

  • Sold, 28 September৳52,000
  • Cost of that laptop−৳46,000
September profit৳6,000
