Repairs are part of a laptop's cost
Send a unit to repair, record what it cost, and every report knows. The cost freezes at sale, so a later repair never rewrites an old profit.
In short
In LaptopERP, a unit's cost basis is its purchase price plus every repair recorded on it. “Repair complete” asks for the cost; when the unit sells, that cost is frozen into the sale line, so profit on repaired and used laptops is right and history can't be rewritten.

Profit after a repair
A used laptop bought at ৳40,000 needs a screen replacement, then sells at ৳48,000.
Not the ৳8,000 a notebook would show.
- Sold at৳48,000
- Bought at−৳40,000
- Screen replacement−৳3,000
Yes. Stock value uses the cost basis: the purchase price plus every repair recorded on the unit.
